Teresa Maness Education Foundation
Making College Dreams
Come True!
TMEF is an educational foundation founded by Gina
Price at the direction of the Last Will and Testament of
Teresa Maness with funds received by the Teresa
Maness Estate from a personal injury settlement.
Teresa Maness was an amazing southern lady who loved
children.
Teresa was also intelligent, educated and well read.
These attributes inspired Teresa to direct that funds
received should be used to assist deserving students
with the financial means to attend college. Teresa died
on March 19, 2005, but her dream is alive and well.
Successful scholarship applicants are smart, highly
motivated individuals who are unable to afford the
steep costs of college tuition, books and campus life.
Applicants must have goals, be determined to succeed
and willing to work and study hard.
The TMEF affords the successful scholarship applicant
HOPE by HELP through financial aid to students who
would not otherwise be able to attend college. The
students are then able to devote their energies to the
HARD WORK necessary to attain an education as
opposed to working hard to support themselves. TMEF
believes that the inevitable result will be SUCCESS. The
successful applicant succeeds in attaining their
education and, more importantly, in making their
dreams come true.

It is the HOPE of the TMEF that as a result of the
TMEF’s role in the realization of their dreams, that
scholarship recipients, once they have attained
personal success and prosperity, will be generous to
the TMEF by HELPing other students have the
opportunity to devote their college years to HARD
WORK resulting in SUCCESS. In this way, Teresa’s
dream will live on and on.
